The school

Tiberius International is an Italian language school for foreigners, born in Rimini in 1994.  The headquarters of the institute is located in the old town of the city in Corso d’Augusto 213.
 
The institute, for more than 30 years, has been offering Italian language courses for foreigners and courses in other languages. It is led by Monica Golfieri who, together with her staff, is actively involved in the coordination of  Italian language and culture courses and activities, trips and excursions for students.
  • Courses are held all year round. The strength of our institute is familiarity;  the needs of each individual student are a priority.  The familiar and relaxing environment allows you to develop lexical and communication skills and provides the student with adequate learning autonomy
  • The teaching method is based on the six levels of knowledge on the scale of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which develops and deepens various topics such as vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, and grammatical structures.
  • The lessons are engaging and interactive; Classes are made up of a few students, of various nationalities; created so that each student can meet people from all over the world and make friends.
The Institute, in its path, has been enriched by Italian Public Ministerial recognition through acknowledgement (Ministry of Education, University and Research), of authorization from the University for Foreigners of Siena as centre for DITALS examination. It’s an accredited center for Swedish students recognized by CSN (Swedish National Board of Student Aid); It also actively collaborates with various Italian and international universities through curricular internships and orientation activities. The location

  • The Tiberius International School is located in Rimini’s downtown: in Corso d’Augusto 213 in front of Fulgor Cinema, the historical cinema of the city. The area near Tiberius is rich in restaurants, bars, cafès, shops, cultural attractions, museums, theaters, cinemas, and much more…
  • The school is about a 10-minute walk from Rimini’s Train and Bus Station.
  • 8-minute walk from the Arch of Augustus, and a 7-minute walk from the Tiberius Bridge, the main Roman monuments of the city.
  • About 20 minutes walking distance from the famous beaches and Parco del Mare, a wellness destination in front of the beach.
  • Not far from our school and Rimini the students can easily reach famous Italian destinations (Florence, Bologna, Venice, Rome,…): the trains and buses facilities are available all year round.
